Fantastica: The Neverending Story
Started a new project on the side for The Concept Art Club re-envisioning "The Neverending Story". Working through a mess of characters on this one, but first up was the Childlike Emperess. Enjoy
My re-invention of the story really is just a distant extension to the original, set in present day, roughly 30 years after the age of Bastian. After I finished the Childlike Emperess, I moved on to Falkor, but not just Falkor (who is still at the moment in mid paint) but his daughter Blume (as part of her portion in the story she is somehow transformed into a human.. more on that to come after the third character design is finished).
